Energy storage

Energy storage holds the electricity generated beyond daytime demand for use at night or during an outage. Capacity is measured in kilowatt-hours (kWh) and has to be matched to the inverter. Building installations today commonly use lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) cells.
